AMJ is an international, open-access, half-yearly, online publication. AMJ welcomes reports from any medical discipline. It provides:

AMJ is published by AMIR, the international leading preparation centre for Spain ́s Specialized Medical Training (MIR) Examination. AMIR is an ambitious medical educational project, made by an organization of physicians commited to fostering medical education, making medical knowledge accessible to all the scientific community and serving as a great resource for researchers and students across the globe.

The journal publishes high-quality solicited and unsolicited articles, in English, in all areas of Medical sciences. All papers published by the Journal are peer reviewed. It‘s a very rapid response journal.

The following types of papers are considered for publication:

  • Studies that present the results of primary scientific research
  • Reviews or Overviews
  • Case studies, either contemporary or historical
  • Study protocols
  • Letters, commentaries, or essays

  • Opinion pieces that are judged relevant
  • Monographs
  • Under-25: A selection of outstanding contributions made by under-25 researchers. This section is aimed to encourage young investigators to publish their initial works
